LOCATION: In person at our Lake Park, Iowa location

Overview:

The Ag/Commercial Lender will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships to assist in securing various agriculture, commercial, small business, and other credits. Your knowledge in loan origination, credit analysis, and customer service will be instrumental in guiding clients through the loan process and ensuring their financial needs are met while limiting the bank's exposure.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop loan and deposit relationships with current and prospective customers.

  • Evaluates customer applicant’s credit and financial status to determine appropriate lending decisions based on company risk-tolerance levels.

  • Determines value or status of collateral as necessary during the loan application process.

  • Structures loans within loan policy guidelines for presentation and approval by loan committee.

  • Maintains a strong knowledge of bank products and identifies opportunities to recommend products and services to customers.

  • Executes sales strategies to grow commercial and agricultural lending revenue and bank deposits.

  • Manages existing loan portfolio and reviews financials including tax returns to ensure loan complies with covenants and policy.

  • Builds relationships with key members of the community, building a network to grow commercial lending revenue and deposit growth.

  • Represents the bank at local community and professional organization events.

  • Maintains a strong understanding of internal bank policies and banking regulations.

  • Other Duties as assigned.

 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.

  • 2+ years of commercial or agricultural related lending preferred.

  • Hours are Monday - Friday between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

LOCATION: All Locations (Milford, Okoboji, Hartley, Ocheyedan and Lake Park)

Overview:

This person will travel to all locations when needed to help provide coverage at locations.

Mileage will be paid based on a central location to be determined.


Responsibilities:

  • Accepting Deposits

  • Cashing Checks

  • Processing loan payments

  • Answering phones

  • Assist customers with inquiries and problem resolution

  • Other miscellaneous banking tasks are required
